Many people spend a lot of their energy on a daily basis focusing on things that are out of their control. Its a quick burn out. There are things that we can control and things that we can't. I talked with a friend the other day who had one thing after another falling apart and going in directions they had no intent. It was as if there was no sense of stability , no focus and it was so overwhelming it was effecting his mood, sleep, work and relationships


This picture captures a lot of those areas and helps put it into perspective.


If you focus on the out of control items you are expecting something that you most likely aren't going to get. Its pretty much pointless effort that can be very overwhelming and frustrating.

Your behaviors

Your thoughts

Your attitude

Your emotions

Your Future



A lot of people spend way too much energy and focus trying to control the things that they can’t control . If that’s you , stop for a moment and ask yourself what am I trying to control that I really can’t? Then ask instead of focusing on that what is something or some things I do have control over . Focus on those . Most important remember, We can’t control others but we can control ourselves. There is a sense of hope and grounding in knowing that. Think about it and focus on those things.
