Many people spend a lot of their energy on a daily basis focusing on things that are out of their control. Its a quick burn out. It takes a lot of our energy and it isnt realistic. There are things that we can control and things that we can't. I talked with a friend the other day who had one thing after another falling apart and he was spiraling in many different directions without any peace or contentmentnt. It was as if there was no sense of stability , no focus , no understanding how to manage the circumstances and only tuned in to one thing. Focusing on what was not controllable. This can get so bad it can effect mood, sleep, work and relationships and lead to wat a lot of people struggle with now days, Anxiety.
This illustration is a great example of control that put things into a better perspective.

Stop and refelct on this. What in your life right now is manageable. What do you have control of? If you focus on the out of control items you are expecting something that you most likely aren't going to get. Its pointless and wasted time that can be very overwhelming and frustrating.
Bottom line You CAN manage and control these 5 Key things:
Your behaviors
Your thoughts
Your attitude
Your emotions
Your Future
If you are trying to control anything else outside of these areas I think it’s important to ask yourself why? It just doesn’t. work . If you want to feel stable, find more peace and confident again focus on controlling these area of your life. You do have control. It’s time to take it back.
