What do I need to know as I begin the counseling process?

The First Steps

After we have talked and you have decided to move forward with the counseling process I will forward you the intake paperwork and consent to treat. These can be completed and emailed back to myself or brought in at the first session.


Session times:

I will provide you with times avaialble to meet and set you up so you will receive a text reminder for when you are scheduled

  • When you arrive at the office please wait in the lobby and I will come and get you when available.

  • If you are meeting online a link will be sent for you to join ad the time scheduled.

  • Sessions will generally run 50 minutes.


How do payments work?

Payments can be made by card, cash, check or Zelle. If by card there is a $3 fee included . Cards can also be saved for future use. Checks need to be made out to Grace and Peace Counseling, Zelle payment contact info is my email kevin@graceandpeacecounseling.org If you have any questions about the costs or are using a scholarship provided by work/church/etc please let me know before so we can set up the arrangement. Session rate is $150.


Expectations

  • If you are needing to cancel, reschedule or are running late please let me know as stated in the consent forms

  • Please be honest and transparent in sessions as to make this a productive useful time

  • Payments are made at the time of sessions and a receipt will be provided
